Welsh Open 14th August 2010.

Not the biggest of turn outs but I think all that entered enjoyed the course which was very testing but also the added wind to contend with.
Pete Dutton shot excellent to get a 57 and a special well done to Del for taking 3rd spot after a shoot off. Also great shooting from Andrew Underwood to take the junior title.

Quarry's Captain Jane Sparkes looks proud with Andrew Underwood who won the 9-13 class at Bisley, this is the first time Quarry has ever had a Junior winner.

Well done Andrew from all at Quarry.

UK Springer and Welsh Open.

On Sunday the 15th of August we will be holding the UK Springer comp, but also on the Saturday (14th) we will be resurrecting the “Welsh Open”.
We haven’t held this for a few years due to fitting it in.

The courses will both be different so if you enter both you wont be shooing the same targets.
Don't forget you can also shoot a pcp on the Sunday to.

Camping will be available.

Mark Wall becomes World Champion

After two days of top shooting Wally came in with equal overall scores with 2 other lads and then went on to beat them in the shoot off with a cracking standing shot.
Well done Mark from all Quarry members.

It was a good weekend for the club with Mark taking top spot, Pete Sparkes taking equal 5th (10th in the placings) Jane Sparkes finishing 3rd in the Ladies class.

Also four of Quarry shooters were in the Welsh squad who finished 2nd

Derick Stone, Jane Sparkes, Mark Wall & Pete Sparkes.

So our small little club on top of a mountain brought home plenty of silverware.

Well done all.

Quarry Extreme 2010 Report, Results & Pictures.

Thanks to all who made the trip and hope you enjoyed the course. Thanks to Tracey, Diane & Elaine for feeding us all day.

With the Quarry Extreme, a quarry member club member can never win only visitors, so even though Mark Wall scored a cracking 60/80 he didn’t take the third place trophy.
But hats off to Pete Dutton 65/80 was an excellent score for that course!!!!

UKAHFT Gathering and All Comers 2009.

Congratulations to Jane Sparkes on her second place in The Gathering with a score of 59
And to Gareth James for his excellent first place in the All Comers with a score of 57.
Great shooting from them both.

Pete Sparkes takes the UKAHFT Title for the 4th time.

Well done to Pete for lifting the UKAHFT open title for the fourth time. It was another hard fought season with Pete shooting consistently all year taking the title in round 9 at Emley Moor .
Pete has now taken the honors in 2002 2006 2007 and again now in 2009.

Jane Sparkes takes top ladies score at Emley Moor.

Well done to Jane for taking the top ladies spot at Round 9 of the UKAHFT. Jane won with a score of 54.
